Musketeers Security has zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere within our own business or in our supply chains.
We are committed to ensuring there is transparency throughout our business and with our suppliers regarding our approach to modern slavery. We expect all those in our supply chain and contractors to adhere to the same high standards.
3. Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains include the procurement of security equipment, technology solutions, uniforms, vehicles, and other operational necessities required to deliver our security services. We engage with suppliers both domestically and internationally.
We recognize that certain sectors within our supply chain may present higher risks for modern slavery and human trafficking, including manufacturing, textile production, and technology hardware supply chains.
4. Due Diligence and Risk Assessment
Musketeers Security has implemented the following measures to identify and mitigate the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains:
- Supplier Due Diligence: We conduct thorough due diligence on all new suppliers and regularly review existing suppliers to assess their compliance with modern slavery legislation and ethical labor practices.
- Risk Assessment: We assess potential risks in our supply chains based on geographical location, sector, and nature of business relationships, focusing particular attention on high-risk areas.
- Contractual Obligations: Our supplier contracts include specific provisions requiring compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and related legislation, and the right to audit and terminate relationships if standards are not met.
- Right to Work Checks: We conduct thorough right-to-work checks for all employees and verify that all recruitment is conducted through licensed and reputable agencies.
5. Policies and Procedures
We have implemented and maintain the following policies to support our commitment to eradicating modern slavery:
- Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy: This policy makes clear our zero-tolerance approach and sets out guidance for identifying and reporting concerns.
- Whistleblowing Policy: We encourage all employees, suppliers, and business partners to report any concerns related to modern slavery or human trafficking. Reports can be made confidentially and without fear of retaliation.
- Recruitment and Employment Policy: Our recruitment processes ensure that all employees are legally entitled to work in the UK, are not charged recruitment fees, and understand their rights and conditions of employment.
- Supplier Code of Conduct: This code sets out the minimum standards we expect from our suppliers regarding labor practices, human rights, and ethical business conduct.
